Compositionthe original assemblage, complete — adrenochrome of the first custody, held in a base laid down at inception, with orris of comparable age and a trace of ambergris.

Sealed in 1954 and held since in inert vessel, the Originelle is the reserve by which the house reads time. Its colour has evolved toward the archival register — a settled, tawny depth the house records, in its own vocabulary, as approaching lake red — the quiet patina by which time is recognised.

ExpressionComposure and persistence; a long, resolving finish; a mineral, saline-edged depth with little floral lift. The house does not describe it as powerful. It describes it as complete.

MethodThe full Différentiel Éternel — twelve stages, from stabilisation at the point of custody through fractional separation, the régime différentiel, resting, assemblage, extended élevage en cave, and final hand-regulation by the régleur, to sealing and classification. Our method does not seek to eliminate variation. It teaches variation to resolve itself.

Continuity, not administrationAt this level, a reserve fulfils its purpose through continuity rather than use. The Maison does not counsel entering the Originelle into protocol. An unopened reserve remains complete.
